Last week, I spent time with a lot of nonprofit leaders, and one thing is clear—charity/donation aggregators are a hot topic. I’ll keep this short and sweet because I need five to 10 minutes of your time to get some information.
Here is a quick explanation: There are many online giving opportunities scattered across the web. The idea behind most of these giving websites is to enable all types of donors, however deep or shallow their pockets, to quickly and conveniently find worthy causes to support just by clicking and using their credit cards. Giving sites aggregate many charities in one place so a potential donor does not have to hop around looking for individual charitable sites. And charities, whatever their sizes, can find a home where donors congregate.
Please click here to take a quick survey about your nonprofit. If you are reading this and are not a nonprofit, but you have specific thoughts on the matter, please share those as well. I will report back after I compile the results.
