The Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) officially set up the Donor Database Center, the first such database in China, March 22. A Red Cross official said the establishment of the center would be convenient for providing follow-up services to donors.
Some citizens will receive "Charity" letters signed by actress Hai Qing, charity ambassador of Red Cross, and be invited to join the donor database so they can keep up with news from RCSC and track their donations by letter, e-mail or the online database inquiry platform.
