Cox Communications, in partnership with The Trust for Public Land (TPL), launched Arizona's first annual Cox Conserves Heroes awards program. Two individuals will be recognized as Arizona's Cox Conserves Heroes, and a total of $14,000 will be donated to local environmental nonprofits.
The Cox Conserves Heroes program asks local residents to nominate volunteers in their community who help create, preserve or enhance outdoor places for everyone to enjoy. Eligible nominees cannot receive financial compensation for their conservation work.
