Four Metro-Area Foundations Contribute $2.3M to Support PACE Arts Center
A quartet of regional foundations have pledged $2.3 million toward the Hoff Family Arts and Culture Center, an entertainment hub that will be located in downtown Council Bluffs and operated by Pottawattamie Arts, Culture and Entertainment.
The Daugherty, Peter Kiewit and Mutual of Omaha Foundations of Omaha, along with the Southwest Iowa Foundation of Council Bluffs, made donations toward the center, PACE announced Thursday afternoon. One of the foundations, which made the biggest contribution, requested its dollar amount not be disclosed, leading PACE to announce only the combined donation total.
The donations come on the heels of a combined $1 million donation from the families of Dick and the late Deanne Miller and John and Anne Nelson of Council Bluffs.
