LifeCare Alliance, central Ohio's largest Meals-on-Wheels provider, is adding violence prevention and safety skills to its growing array of health and nutrition services for the elderly and others.
Officials are to announce the nonprofit organization's fourth merger in eight years, this time with IMPACT Safety, a smaller charity that has been working in the city for 18 years.
Chuck Gehring, LifeCare president and CEO, said the move will help the community to meet a growing need, especially among senior citizens.
