New App Finds and Vets Charities for Users to Donate to Every Day

Launched this week, the free app ChariPick helps people find lesser-known charities that match their interests.

“You put in preferences about yourself—what kind of giver you are, how much you want to give per day and what kind of charities you'd like to give to,” said Stephen Lee, founder and CEO of ChariPick. “Based on that information, we present you with three different options that we've curated, which change every single day. You choose one of those charities.” Lee says he hopes to get more people into the habit of giving, while his company boosts the money going to small and mid-sized charities.
