Ohio Arts Foundation Launches $1 Million Challenge

Starting Monday, Aug. 10, the Knight Foundation is accepting applications for ideas that engage and enrich the community through the arts in Akron, Ohio.

The Knight Arts Challenge will award $1 million in its first year in Akron as part of a $3 million, three-year initiative. The beauty is that anyone can apply—individuals, organizations, students, arts institutions, collectives and businesses—and the initial application requires only 150 words to explain an arts idea.
