Randolph Sanders was worried — his boss was on to him. He knew Kim Jones, his supervisor at Families and Schools Together, an after-school outreach program, suspected he was misappropriating money, law enforcement sources said Sunday. He knew she had scheduled a meeting for that morning with officials of the state Department of Human Services. He was worried she would report him, and he would lose his job.
Police said Sanders ambushed and shot Jones on Jan. 13 as she waited at a bus stop en route to work.
