Plymouth resident Linda Crandall had trouble scheduling pickup times for donations to nonprofits, inspiring she and her husband, Duane, to start a website that they say helps donors and charities alike. GoodDonor.org is nearing its one-year anniversary and has expanded beyond the Twin Cities to other states. The site allows users to arrange pickup times for in-kind, nonmonetary donations, such as items for Arc's Value Village Thrift Stores. Users can seek pickup options by participating charity or by time, regardless of charity.
