Thousands Run in Sport Relief Fundraising Events

Thousands of people across the U.K. have been participating in running events raising money for Sport Relief. The funds will be spent by the Comic Relief charity in the U.K. and the world's poorest countries.

Friday's BBC telethon, featuring sport and entertainment stars, raised more than $79 million — an on the night record. By Sunday more than $82 million had been raised.
