Ankur Chatterjee
President and Executive Director
Enduring Hearts
Why he’s rising: Under his leadership, Enduring Hearts has seen a 300 percent increase in fundraising revenue and developed key strategic partnerships. One such partnership, with American Heart Association, resulted in $500,000 per year in research grants. Enduring Hearts has funded $1.7 million in research grants since Chatterjee took over in mid-2015.

Lauren Meling
Senior Digital Manager
The Climate Reality Project
Why she’s rising: Ahead of the U.N. climate talks in Paris, Meling led a three-person team in crafting 500 messages to accompany The Climate Reality Project’s live “24 Hours of Reality” online campaign. She also ran the campaign’s social media push, which reached more than 80 million people and resulted in 25,000 signatures on a petition directed at world leaders attending the climate talks.

Angel Nuce
CEO and President
Haunted Mines
Why she’s rising: Under Nuce, Haunted Mines achieved record attendance in 2015—without spending a single dollar on marketing. Nuce expanded the organization’s volunteer corps from 25 volunteers in 2014 to 140 in 2015 and strengthened its community outreach by partnering with other area nonprofits, including Goodwill and Colorado Donor Alliance.
