People Incorporated is the Twin Cities’ largest community-based provider of mental health services, capitalizing on its mission to support mental health and wellness in the community through collaboration and integration of care.
Ken Duncan joined the board in 2013 and became board chair in 2015. His primary responsibilities include managing the governance structure, strategic leadership, executive consulting, building the board’s learning and understanding and skills through continued education. Under his leadership, the organization has seen a tremendous growth: clients served annually from 10,000 to 14,000, revenue earned from $30 million to $50 million and overall impact in the community and improvement outcomes.
Now that People Incorporated has entered its 50th year, under Duncan’s leadership, the team has taken an even more introspective look at its mission, vision and strategy for the future, as he brought in more resources, talent and ideas to fuel to organization’s growth and to ensure that its long-term impact in the community will be sustained for the next 50 years.
