Dan Schoenfeld
VP
ASCM Foundation
Dan Schoenfeld is experienced and proficient in building innovative, sustainable tools and services that benefit organizations in the philanthropic sector. As the former VP of strategic development at Fluxx, he worked to continuously grow Fluxx Grantmaker and Grantseeker, platforms transforming the grantmaking process for the world’s philanthropic ecosystem.
Dan is no stranger to nonprofits. A son of an army veteran and brother of a law enforcement officer, he spends his free time volunteering with various veteran and law enforcement charities, as well as the Wounded Warrior Project. He previously served as the director of grants and impact administration at The Knight Foundation, where he worked to leverage technology to drive innovation and impact for lasting social change. There, he focused on improving operational efficiency, improving collaboration with nonprofits, improving transparency in the grantmaking process and using technology to personalize the grantee experience.
Because Dan is able to efficiently recognize organizational pain points, he’s able to distinguish what’s needed in the industry as a whole—and his understanding of these processes is what led to him joining Fluxx. He feels he can accomplish more and meaningfully impact change by reaching a wider cross-section of nonprofits and foundations. At Fluxx, Dan’s impact has been considerable and immediate, helping facilitate nearly $7.2 billion in funding and partnering with foundations and nonprofits.
