1. Your setup. “The key thing is pictures. Make sure you have nice, engaging photos, a nice banner image across the top. You can have a slideshow, logos, photos of people you are helping. It’s clich

2. Your pitch. "You want to be detailed yet concise. You want to be really clear about what you’re doing and start with the ask right away. Every story is different, but the key is telling your story. You have to have an emotional hook. Think in different ways. Help people connect and feel compelled to give.

“People don’t give when it feels sterile or inauthentic, if it doesn’t feel legitimate. It’s best to be yourself, authentic and honest because people respond to that.”

3. Your marketing. “The key to success in crowdfunding is marketing it. Marketing is more important than the setup.”
