A Blast From the Past: Seriously? (February 2010)

FundRaising Success published its first issue in November 2003, which makes this our 10-year anniversary year. To celebrate, we'll be taking a look back at past issues throughout the year. Given the recent devastating typhoon in the Philippines, this Editor's Note from February 2010 seems appropriate.

"Shame on you, America: the only country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed without eating, elderly going without needed meds, and mentally ill without treatment — yet we have a benefit for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations."

I respect my friends' opinions and their right to post whatever they want on Facebook. But this chain status update ticked me off …
