All Mail Direct Joins With the Stephen Shore Recovery Trust to Support Connecticut Children's Medical Center Patients' Through Creative Music Program
All Mail Direct Inc., a direct-mail, printing and fulfillment services provider, announced that it recently made a donation to the Stephen G. Shore Recovery Trust to support its efforts to help patients at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center through the music creative process.
"In my role as a business executive during the day and amateur musician at night, the efforts by the Stephen Shore Recovery Trust really attracted my attention right away. Music can be used in so many ways to help people recovering from minor or traumatic conditions," said Sal Iacobucci, president of All Mail Direct, in a press release. "With our help and the assistance of others, I hope we'll be able to purchase mobile recording equipment and other audio equipment for the kids to use at CCMC. All Mail Direct will be formalizing further support for the Stephen Shore Recovery Trust in the very near future."
The mission of the Stephen G. Shore Recovery Trust is to support and promote important charitable work through the utilization of Connecticut's best musical talents — all in the name of the late musician Steve Shore who was a talented bassist and vocalist for some of Connecticut's top music bands that spanned from the 1970's through 2009.
This year, the trust is assisting the ArtReach Program at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, Hartford, Conn. The program uses the creative process to enhance the physical and emotional well-being of patients. This music for health and healing program is responsible for providing musical interaction between patients and carefully selected musicians, who help those in need learn how to write and record songs.
