The fundraising campaign was closely integrated with HRC’s advocacy campaign, which sent more than 375,000 e-mails and 40,000 phone calls to Congress. It then converted activists to donors by leading them to a donation page after they took action. HRC added more than 70,000 online subscribers during the course of this campaign.
