The 2011 Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year is Patricia Lanza, of Eastchester, whose extraordinary generosity has affected Westchester County and beyond, providing major support to The Food Bank, Children’s Village, El Centro Hispano, The Exposure Foundation, Today’s Students Tomorrow’s Teachers, and more. Her charity has extended to Africa and Asia through UNICEF, the Ford Foundation and others.
