Pleasantville’s Rose Cappa, of Cappa Crucy & Co., will receive the Professional Fundraiser of the Year Award. Ms. Cappa’s creativity, professionalism and dedication are noteworthy in a field that is renowned for those qualities.
Katonah’s Michael Sabbath will receive the Youth in Philanthropy Award for his project benefitting the organization Ability Beyond Disability. Currently an eighth grader at John Jay Middle School, Michael used his musical talents as composer, lyricist, performer and producer to raise funds for people with disabilities, ultimately raising over $5,000, and inspiring over 140 fellow students to join him in his efforts.
