PPMD’s recently launched “I WILL” campaign, created as an inspirational campaign encouraging people to take action in helping to give a voice to Duchenne muscular dystrophy, will be reinforced through direct mail and merchandising. The PPMD “I WILL” green rubber wristbands, fashioned after the widely successful Lance Armstrong bracelets, already have been a tremendous success, with 16,000 sold and another 20,000 on order. Income to date: $32,000, with $12,000 more anticipated.
