Fundraising With Heart
Surprising results
“We are stunned by how popular the “I WILL” bracelets are. They have become a symbol of strength for families with DMD and a great source of hope,” says Pat Furlong, executive director of PPMD.
The organization sent its annual Awareness Week-focused direct mail appeal to 5,000 parents, family members and other donors who are affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Approximately $30,000 net income is anticipated, and further gifts are expected to come in through March.
