Billionaire Chuck Feeney Donates $100 Million to Health Research

July 28, 2009, The Courier-Mail — American billionaire Chuck Feeney is donating a massive chunk of his fortune to ensure Queensland remains at the cutting edge of biomedical research.

The state's growing reputation as a health and medical research hub received a significant boost yesterday when Mr Feeney pledged more than $100 million to help fund three major new research institutes.
