Blackbaud Celebrates 10th Annual Conference for Nonprofits With Scholarship Fund and Get Social!
Charleston, S.C., July 28, 2009 — To help nonprofit professionals attend its milestone event focused on nonprofit technology and to mark the 10th anniversary of its annual Conference for Nonprofits,Blackbaud, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLKB) is giving away 10 complimentary registrations through its scholarship fund and the Get Social! Contest.

Blackbaud’s Conference for Nonprofits will be held in Charleston, South Carolina from November 15 to 18. The Conference provides opportunities for professional development and technical education with 130 sessions covering topics including integrated fundraising strategy, financial management, donor prospecting, marketing, and Blackbaud’s technology solutions. It also provides a forum for one-on-one sessions with software engineers, and the opportunity to network with other nonprofit professionals, executives, developers, and industry partners.

· Scholarship Fund
Nonprofit professionals can apply online by sharing how they would benefit from attending this educational Conference. Applications need to be submitted by August 14 and five winners will be announced on August 21.
· Get Social! Contest
Five complimentary registrations will be awarded through the Get Social! Contest throughout the day on August 11, 12, and 13. Eligible participants can “follow the clues” by following Blackbaud on twitter at www.twitter.com/blackbaud, by becoming a fan of Blackbaud on Facebook at www.facebook.com/blackbaud and by visiting www.blackbaud.com. Three Get Social! passes will be placed in Los Angeles, New York, and Washington D.C. Once a pass is found, eligible participants must submit the winning code found on the pass to conference@blackbaud.com to win. (Passes are transferrable, so if a participant is not in one of these three metro areas, he or she can designate a helper.) Two additional Get Social! passes will be given away to eligible nonprofits online at Blackbaud.com.
Contest Rules: To redeem a complimentary registration, an individual must be over 18 and must provide proof of employment with a registered 501c3 organization. Registrations may be transferred to an eligible nonprofit. Complimentary registrations are limited to one per person. Contest is void where prohibited. Complete Get Social!
