Call for Nominations — Fundraising Professionals of the Year
In February, FundRaising Success will announce the winners of the fifth annual Fundraising Professionals of the Year Awards. To submit a nomination, send us an e-mail telling us who you’re nominating, in which category and why.
Categories are:
- Lifetime Achievement — Based on a body of work over the course of 30+ years.
- Fundraising Professional of the Year — Based on a specific fundraising achievement in 2009.
- Fundraising Stars — Based on a body of work, a compelling project or special circumstance, an overall attitude or approach, etc.
- Rising Stars — Up-and-comers with fewer than five years in the sector.
Send nominations to mbattistelli@napco.com before Dec. 14. Please include your name, as well as the nominee’s name, title, agency or organization, phone number, and e-mail; reason for the nomination; and, if possible, a digital headshot of the nominee.
Gold Awards winners announced
Check out this month's cover story for results of FundRaising Success' annual Gold Awards for Fundraising Excellence competition. After hours of grueling debate and some surprise twists, our judges finally decided on the best of the best from among more than 80 entries. Winners were named in categories including Fundraising Campaigns of the Year; Acquisition (50,000 and more mailed); Acquisition (fewer than 50,000 mailed); Renewal (50,000 and more mailed); Renewal (fewer than 50,000 mailed); Special Appeal; Grand Control of the Year; E-philanthropy; Multichannel; and Fearless Fundraising.
