Catholic Charities USA Chooses Merkle for Direct Mail Gift Processing and Donor Services
Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) has selected Merkle Response Management Group (Merkle RMG), a subsidiary of Merkle, to manage its direct mail gift processing and donor service requirements. Merkle RMG's features include mail processing, scanning, imaging, data entry, exception services, and call center and email management. The three-year contract began in October 2014.
Since 1910, CCUSA has supported agencies nationwide to advocate for social change and to eradicate poverty. The services provided by Merkle RMG allow CCUSA to provide donor service through timely donation processing and prompt acknowledgement of gifts, helping the organization develop stronger relationships with its donors. By supporting CCUSA’s donation processing efforts, the charity is able to focus more of its resources on efforts to reduce poverty and serve those in need.
“Merkle Response Management Group was the only full-service caging vendor on the market able to serve all of our needs through one streamlined service," said Brian Gavin, senior vice president of advancement for CCUSA. "It is the combination of its exceptional service, cutting-edge technology, and its desire to help further our cause that made the decision to work with Merkle RMG an easy one. We can now move forward with a renewed focus on our organization’s beneficiaries—America’s poor—with confidence that Merkle RMG has donation processing down to a science.”
“Donation processing is a key element of a successful direct mail fundraising program," added Bill Sayre, president of Merkle RMG. "Merkle RMG’s comprehensive and integrated service solution allows Catholic Charities USA to focus its efforts on serving the 48 million Americans facing poverty today. CCUSA’s work improves the lives of so many of our nation’s poor, with efforts that include providing housing for more than 475,000 individuals. Partnering with Merkle RMG will further these efforts by building and nurturing the donor relationships that will help make CCUSA’s goal of ending poverty in America a reality."
