Center on Philanthropy Congratulates Indianapolis Philanthropic Leader L.H. Gayley on Lifetime Achievement Award
Bayley will be honored by AFP-IC at its 26th annual Philanthropy Awards Dinner in Indianapolis on Thursday, November 19, 2009.
Bayley is the chairman of the 100 year-old David A. Noyes & Company, the oldest New York Stock Exchange member firm in the Midwest. He started his career at David A. Noyes in 1959 and has served as chairman since 1978. Bayley has also served on the board of governors of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and the executive committee of the Securities Industry Association Central States District, among others, and has earned decades of industry accolades, awards and recognition. A former captain in the U.S. Army, Bayley received special training as a missile control officer and served eight years in the Reserves.
