Charity Donates Typhoon Ketsana Survivors More Than $2 Million in Relief

This assistance further validates Children International's title as a leading humanitarian organization in the Philippines for its support of poor children and families there.

Typhoon Ketsana, the worst tropical storm to hit the area in 40 years, has affected over 80 percent of the city's population including 74,000 children that are supported by Children International. Early reports estimate over 4,000 Children International-sponsored families have been affected by the Typhoon. The resulting flooding has sadly claimed the life of one child Children International supports.
