Charity Dynamics Achieves Record First Quarter Growth, Increases Year-Over-Year Revenue by More Than 100 Percent
AUSTIN, Texas, April 16, 2009 — Charity Dynamics, a provider of comprehensive online solutions for nonprofits, today announced record growth during the first quarter of 2009, increasing revenue by more than 100 percent compared to the same quarter last year. The company's strong first quarter performance builds upon its momentum from 2008, another strong year during which Charity Dynamics saw a 2X increase in revenue.
"Our company is as healthy as it has ever been, and we're strongly positioned for continued growth as we deliver services, software and support to nonprofits that enable them to achieve and exceed their online goals," said Donna Wilkins, president of Charity Dynamics. "Charity Dynamics has established itself as a trusted resource for organizations who are wisely investing in online programs and reaching new levels of success."
Charity Dynamics guides nonprofit organizations through strategy, implementation, training and effective management of integrated online programs. The company already works with a number of national chapter-based organizations including the American Cancer Society, National Multiple Sclerosis Society and The ALS Association. New clients acquired during Q1 2009 include the American Heart Association, RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, and CauseForce.
Increased demand for Charity Dynamics' innovative social networking application, Boundless Fundraising, contributed to the company's strong first quarter performance. Launched in late 2008, Boundless Fundraising is a simple and effective fundraising application that empowers nonprofits to mobilize social networking communities in support of their causes. The application helps event participants increase awareness, reach more donors, and more effectively support organizations in reaching their fundraising goals. For example, participants who used Boundless Fundraising leading up to the 2008 Komen Austin Race for the Cure generated more than three times as many donations as those who didn't use the application.
Charity Dynamics will be providing demos of Boundless Fundraising on April 26th during NTEN's Nonprofit Technology Conference in San Francisco. (Booth #62)
Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Charity Dynamics now has a presence in three cities. The company recently opened an office in Washington, DC to better support current clients and extend its services to additional organizations. This follows the successful opening of its New York office during the previous year.
"It's important for us, as well as the organizations we engage with, to have a physical presence in the two major cities that are undoubtedly considered the key hubs of nonprofit activity," added Wilkins. "Charity Dynamics has built a strong foundation upon which we can continue serving current and future clients while adding significant value to their online programs and fundraising efforts."
