Florence, AL, August 19, 2009 — It has been two years since the national release of CharityTracker. Since then, CharityTracker has been implemented in over 200 communities.
In celebration of the two-year anniversary of CharityTracker and its overwhelming success, Simon Solutions has announced that they are offering free use of CharityTracker to Christmas Assistance Providers during the 2009 Christmas season.
CharityTracker is a secure, web-based shared case management system designed for community churches and assistance providers who want to share information about who they serve.
CharityTracker was released nationally on September 1st, 2007 to help community and faith-based community service assistance providers communicate, and collaborate more effectively.
Fast-forward two years -- CharityTracker is helping communities mobilize resources and stretch their budget, up to 30% in some cases, by reducing duplication of effort and services. The system can be used for tracking assistance during disaster recovery, during the holiday season, and most effectively on an ongoing basis.
"During these difficult economic times, we thought it would be great to give back to communities, especially during the Christmas season when requests for assistance is expected to reach an all-time high" says Mike Simon, President and CEO of Simon Solutions, "it has been proven that communities that use CharityTracker during the Christmas season are able to help more people because you don't have multiple assistance providers duplicating efforts."
