Press release (Sept. 13, 2012) — Click & Pledge, a software developer and payment processor for the nonprofit industry, will be showcasing its mobile payment application and mobile credit card reader, the Swiper 1™, at the upcoming Salesforce Dreamforce 2012 event in San Francisco Sept. 18-21.
Swiper 1 enables merchants or nonprofits to accept secure credit card payments directly from their mobile devices and integrate with Salesforce CRM applications.
Swiper 1 is the only mobile payment card processing device that integrates with Salesforce. The device integrates the Click & Pledge payment system with the Salesforce CRM. Customers may search and add contacts directly into their Salesforce accounts from a mobile smartphones or tablets. Any payment transaction will automatically import live to Salesforce Contacts. Payments records will be updated in real time, eliminating costly and time-consuming manual entries.

According to the company, Swiper 1 customers may choose a low 2.75 percent plus .15 cents transaction fee or select from two other fee plans. All transaction funds are deposited into customer accounts within 48 hours or sooner.
Swiper 1’s first version will be enabled for all Android-based operating systems. Applications for other operating systems will be introduced in subsequent versions of the software. Swiper 1 is priced at $29.95.
