Global Down Syndrome Foundation: David Charmatz, former senior VP of product planning and development at Starz Entertainment, has been named senior VP.

University of Hawai'i Foundation: SaraLyn Smith, former director of development of the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra, has been appointed director of development for the College of Arts and Humanities; College of Languages, Linguistics and Literature; and Library. Harriet Cintron, former director of development of UH Manoa, has been promoted to senior director of development.
