Community Networking 101, Helpful Hints for Positioning Your Volunteer Program for Community Support
Arlington Heights, IL, August 8, 2009 — The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago is offering a Marketing/PR Fundraising workshop entitled, “Community Networking 101, Helpful Hints for Positioning your Volunteer Program for Community Support.” The class will be held from 9:00 a.m. until noon on Wednesday Sept. 23, 2009, at Forest View Education Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights, IL.
Instructors for the class will be Sheila Schwartz, Asst. VP Barrington Bank & Trust, and Renee Trappe, Asst. Editor, The Daily Herald.
This session is one of a series of Workshops and a Volunteer Management Training Series offered by The Volunteer Center and sponsored by The Points of Light Foundation. Classes will be held through June 10, 2010.
