DaVinci Direct has won more than 100 awards for creative excellence in several different competitions. Now, the agency has added to its total. At the New England Direct Marketing Association’s 2015 NEDMA Awards for Creative Excellence in Boston, DaVinci Direct won 17 awards—one of the highest award totals of any agency in the competition.
“The NEDMA awards show is one of the oldest, largest and most highly respected shows of its kind in the country,” said Steve Maggio, DaVinci Direct’s president and chief creative officer. “And we’re up against some of the biggest and best agencies in this competition.”
The agency took home eight gold, three silver and six bronze awards in several different media, including direct mail, interactive and print advertising. Its winnings include three technique awards in the Best Copywriting, Best Creative Execution and Best Print Production categories. Perhaps the biggest highlight of the evening was winning eight awards for an integrated media campaign the agency created and produced for MSPCA’s Walk for Animals.
DaVinci Direct won awards for clients in a wide range of nonprofit categories, from health care to social services to international relief, animal welfare and education. In addition to MSPCA, the winning clients include Joslin Diabetes Center, International Rescue Committee, Catholic Charities of Washington, Rhode Island Community Food Bank, New England Conservatory and Children’s Hospital & Medical Center/Omaha.
“Winning 17 awards in one show is impressive, but it’s not the awards themselves that matter,” Maggio added. “It’s the fact that each award represents a significant source of revenue for our clients, which is especially important in today’s fundraising climate. We look forward to earning more awards in the coming year, and more importantly, increasing revenue for the clients we are proud to serve.”
