Not-for-profit digital fundraising tool Givelink has been launched by P22 Studio.
While most fundraising tools currently available for use for-profit models take fees from either the organizer or the donors in order to power the tool, Givelink sets itself apart as an entirely free, customizable tool, backed by 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Every.org.
Backed by leading tech nonprofit: Every.org
Every.org’s mission is to build accessible giving infrastructure for the nonprofit sector and to help every person and organization use technology for good. Thanks to Every.org, givers using Givelink will never have to handle any money themselves or pay any fees to set up or donate. Instead, the fundraiser is connected directly to the nonprofit via Every.org’s backend system, and 100% of the proceeds are passed directly to the chosen nonprofit.
While donors are given the option to ‘tip’ the makers of the platform (Every.org) to contribute to its maintenance, this mechanism is transparent and non-mandatory. It is easy to proceed with an entirely free experience.
Sharing the joy of giving this season
Named Givelink for the shareable link generated once your fundraiser has been set up; you can share your
Givelink and encourage your community to donate via social media, link in bio, group chat, or newsletter.
If it sounds simple, it’s because it is - Givelink is now the simplest way to support causes you care about. Free for anyone to set up their own customized fundraiser, supporting any US registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Loved by nonprofits
The Givelink tool was piloted in 2021 in partnership with two leading nonprofit organizations: Lil BUB’s Big Fund launched Merry BUBmas, supporting special needs pets during the giving season; and Leave No Girl Behind was launched by nonprofit So They Can in partnership with music icon Kimbra, in Dec 2021.
Due to the success of both fundraising projects, Givelink has now been made available as a fundraising tool for anyone to create their own custom giving page and start supporting the causes they care most about with Givelink.
Tech for good, tech for free
“We believe that most people are inclined to do good in the world, and with the right tools, charitable giving can become the norm, not the exception,” says the team at P22 Studio who have developed Givelink as a
not-for-profit project, donating time and resources to launch the tool, with the intention to continue improving its functionality, without taking any fees.
Headquartered in New Zealand with a remote team spread around the globe, Givelink represents the first in a series of new tools to be released by P22 Studio with more to come in 2023. Using digital software as their medium, the studio exists to build the kind of future that its team would like to live in. This mission has driven the development of Givelink, and the conviction to keep it free forever.
