DoJiggy Announces Call for Grant Proposals
Boulder, CO, October 29, 2009 — Online fundraising software services provider, DoJiggy, today announced a call for grant proposals for their DoJiggy Giving™ program. DoJiggy Giving supports nonprofits and community organizations through the donation of in-kind software services as well as a percentage of the company’s annual profits. This year the company plans to award five or more organizations with cash grants in the amount of $500 - $1,000.
“We are continually inspired by the work of our clients and others in the nonprofit industry and have developed DoJiggy Giving to further promote this work,” said Lisa Bennett, Director of the DoJiggy Giving Program. “As we continue to grow as a company, we are proud to provide increased support to organizations dedicated to making our world a better place.”
Recipients of cash donations are selected based on the following criteria:
(1) Overview of the organization’s cause and need for financial support
(2) Purpose of funding including a description of goals and objectives, planned activities to accomplish these goals, and a timetable for implementation
(3) Expected results during funding period and evaluating measures of success
Any 501(c)3 (or international equivalent) nonprofit organization that would like to be considered for this year should visit http://www.dojiggy.com/app/about/giving.cfm to download the application, which includes the complete list of requirements. The deadline for application is November 15th, and recipients will be notified by year end. Submissions will be accepted at giving@dojiggy.com or by fax to (303) 265-9028.
