Excelsior College’s Ron Marzitelli and Khamel Abdulai to Present at NonProfit PRO Emerging Tech & Growth Conference
Is your nonprofit using the right technology—or, more importantly, is it using technology right? If you've never asked or answered those questions, maybe it's time for a tech needs assessment. Ron Marzitelli, assistant vice president of information technology, and Khamel Abdulai, workforce development specialist, both of the Excelsior College School of Business & Technology, are here to help.
The pair—whose combined experience includes Marzitelli's 23 years in networking, help desk, IT training telecommunications and IT security, along with a Master of Science in information technology management, and Abdulai's nine years with Apple and MBA from the College of St. Rose—are uniquely qualified to guide you through the process of analyzing your current systems to determine what tech you need and how changes will affect your systems. And they'll be sharing that info at the NonProfit PRO Emerging Tech & Growth Conference.
In a 45-minute session, Successful Adoption of Technology, the duo will cover:
- Best practices for ensuring successful implementation of new technologies and how to avoid common tech mistakes that lead to project failure
- How to obtain and document accurate business and technical requirements that will align organizational needs with technical solutions
- How governance plays a central role in the successful acquisition, adoption and exploitation of technology that promotes competitive advantage
- And more
So, join us at the NonProfit PRO Emerging Tech & Growth Conference, July 21 at WHYY in Philadelphia, to catch presentations and roundtable sessions from Ron, Khamel and a host of other great speakers, including MADD's Nick Ellinger.
