Free June 11 Webinar Offers First Look at Giving USA 2009

Giving USA 2009, a study of 2008 data that highlights trends in philanthropy, was conducted by The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University for the Giving Institute, an association of leading consultants to nonprofits based in Glenview, Illinois. Campbell & Company is a Giving Institute member. The study provides information to help nonprofit organizations understand factors that affect fundraising success; the research also contributes to the historical record about charitable giving in the United States. Public release of the study throughout the U.S. is scheduled for 12:01 a.m. on June 10.
Registration for the Campbell & Company Webinar is FREE and should be of particular interest to nonprofit leaders throughout the U.S., including executives, board members and development professionals.
The program will begin with a summary of the study’s key findings presented by Peter Fissinger, President of Campbell & Company and a Giving Institute Board member. A panel of nationally prominent nonprofit leaders will then discuss the impact of the findings on their institutions and on philanthropy across the United States. Edith Falk, Chair and CEO of Campbell & Company, will moderate the discussion. Ms. Falk also serves as vice-chair of the Giving USA Foundation Board of directors. Questions from webinar participants will be addressed by the presenters and panel.
