Ellen Cobb Church and Jennifer Mercer have teamed up to launch Thrive Marketing Group, according to a company release. Thrive is a team of fundraising professionals who will take traditional fundraising strategies and incorporate new insights and strategies to meet the needs of their clients.
Thrive aims to do this by combining emerging models, technologies and strategies to aid their clients in communicating their message, engaging their supports and maximizing efficiencies to generate predicable revenue.
Here’s what these leaders in fundraising had to say about Thrive:
“We know how important it is for nonprofits to protect their donors’ dollars, and of course, funding the mission remains crucial. But fundraising is changing. It’s not as simple as just asking anymore. It hasn’t been for quite a while. The donor experience is now more like the supporter journey, and these relationships have to be, first of all, genuine and then highly customized. One size no longer fits all.”—Cobb Church
“Uncertainty created by the changing political climate has made it harder than ever for organizations to confidently chart a course. We want to make sure that nonprofits can continue to generate the resources they need for to pursue their missions to end poverty, inequality, hunger, violence and injustice.”—Mercer
