Global Counsel, a strategic advisory firm with offices in Brussels, London, Singapore, Doha and Washington D.C., is seeking applications from charities, NGOs and small social enterprises to participate in the third year of its Social Impact Programme.
The program is aimed at organizations that would benefit from political risk and policy advisory services but may not be able to secure consultancy support. Successful applicants would benefit from Global Counsel’s skills and expertise through a tailored no-cost fixed-term consultancy engagement. Examples of potential projects include:
- Commissioning a report on a policy issue to be used in internal planning and decision-making.
- Publishing a report on a regulatory topic to be published externally e.g. thought-leadership.
- Supporting an organization prepare and deliver an online policy event.
- Devising a political campaign, such as support identifying stakeholders, conceiving an engagement strategy and narrative.
In previous years, Global Counsel has partnered with REDRESS, a legal NGO based in London working with survivors of torture to obtain justice and reparation for violation of human rights; The European Food Banks Federation (FEBA), a Brussels-based NGO representing more than 300 food banks in 29 countries; Frontline, a Berlin social enterprise using preventative and early-stage action to spot the signs and end domestic and gender-based violence; and are currently concluding a project on the Amazon bioeconomy with NESsT, a global social impact investor.
