GlobalGiving Launches 'Operation: Give Love'
WASHINGTON, Feb 10, 2009 — President Barack Obama has called on Americans from all walks of life to embrace a new spirit of change and community service. This Valentine's Day, Americans have an opportunity to heed this call by joining the ranks of GlobalGiving Cupids — special individuals who give back to those in need and inspire others to do the same.
How It Works: Prove that you have what it takes to be a GlobalGiving Cupid: Donate to a GlobalGiving project in the week leading up to Valentine's Day and in return, we will give you up to 20 Valentine's Day "e-arrows" to send to your loved ones. Every Valentine recipient will be entered into the raffle for the chance to win one of five floral bouquets from Organic Bouquet. And for every "e-arrow" you shoot, you'll earn an additional raffle entry. The more love you spread, the better chance you have to win.
