The 2013 FundRaising Success Gold Awards for Fundraising Excellence are right around the corner. With that, here's a look back at our 2007 awards, in which two appeals tied for Package of the Year.
The first co-winner was Doctors Without Borders' "Saving Lives, One Child at a Time" package, submitted by LW Robbins.
From judge Tim O'Leary of Next Generation Fundraising (formerly McPherson Associates): “If you can go through this package without getting emotional, check your pulse.”
The other co-winner was KCSM Radio's "All That Jazz" appeal, submitted by Goodman Marketing Partners.
From judge Steve Froehlich of the ASPCA: “The costs [of this mailing] were surprising for such a small print quantity, and the 30:1 ROI leaves others ‘blue’ with envy.”
