The deadline for entering the NonProfit PRO Gold Awards is just days away. While you’re thinking about all the remarkable work you’ve done that deserves to be recognized, consider this campaign from 2009 by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
Submitted by Lautman Maska Neill & Company, the “Department of Defense” series of emails centered on the suffering of animals used in combat training. While appropriately warning recipients of the details of the problem, it also stressed the urgency of responding to make a big difference thanks to a matching gift challenge.
You can read all about the 2009 Gold award winner for e-Philanthropy here.
Then, enter your own work in time for the 2015 Gold Awards. The deadline is this coming Monday, Sept. 14. For an entry to be eligible, the campaign must have taken place sometime between Jan. 1, 2014, and Dec. 31, 2014.
Download the entry form here. There is a $125 entry fee for the first entry from a company and/or nonprofit organization, and each additional entry costs $75.
Each entry must be submitted individually and be accompanied by its own entry form and check. Please submit two copies of each entry.
