If you need a little inspiration as you’re preparing to enter the NonProfit PRO Gold Awards, consider the Multichannel winner from 2009, Syracuse University.
“Keep ’em Cuse: The Syracuse Responds Initiative,” a massive 45-day effort to raise additional money for students hit hard during the Great Recession, was impressively showcased to the judging panel.
Each aspect of the campaign, which involved email, a phone-a-thon, direct mail and a pumped-up website, as well as other elements, was presented in separate folders to demonstrate the effectiveness of the overall effort.
But then, who wouldn’t be proud of a successful effort, one that raised more than $1 million and an average gift of $940.57?
