The deadline for the NonProfit PRO Gold Awards is just under a week from now, and after the Labor Day holiday weekend, hopefully you’re putting some last-minute touches on your entries. When you have a minute, take a look at one winner from 2010 by the Wildlife Conservation Society.
The “Tiger Matching Gift” campaign, submitted by Schultz & Williams, marked the organization’s fundraising shift from transaction-based to philanthropy-focused.
Across both direct mail and email, previous donors were contacted and made aware of the urgency of the threats to tigers, as well as the potential to make a bigger difference with to a matching gift.
With a cost of just $0.13, this was a success worth roaring about.
You can read much more about the 2010 Multichannel Gold Award winner here.
