“Internally we came together and identified what those benchmarks were going to be and created our talking points and our message points as an internal sub department and used the same communication techniques that organizations use on external audiences, internally,” Meriwether says.
“There was a lot of talking to management, saying, ‘You know, we really feel like this is the right way to go.’ And once we started seeing the fruition of those efforts, it was just a very simple process with them,” she adds.
