Hunt for the Best Fundraising Video in the World Begins
The Resource Alliance and direct-marketing agency Rapp recently announced the launch of the Gold Star Award for Non-Profit Video Advertising 2009, which seeks to find the best of the best in fundraising videos from TV and the Web from across the world.
To make a submission, upload your video to YouTube and complete the online application form by Sept. 25. A judging panel will select a short list of the top entries, which then will be displayed at the International Fundraising Congress in Holland Oct. 20-23, where a live audience will vote for the video they think is best.
The competition rules are as follows:
- All videos should have been premiered within the last 18 months
- All videos should be less than three minutes long
- All entries must include information on tangible results
Shortlisted candidates will receive a £200 (roughly $291) discount to IFC, and the overall winner will receive the Gold Star trophy and free registration to the 2010 IFC, which is valued at more than £1000 (roughly $1,450).
