Right before the end-of-year fundraising push, Blackbaud's Brandon Granger examined 105 nonprofit websites to glean data on if responsive design raises more money for nonprofit organizations.
Granger, the nonprofit and fundraising software company's senior interaction designer, found that 42 percent of those 105 websites were responsively designed, and more importantly, the responsively designed sites had an average donation form conversion rate of 10.09 percent compared to 7.45 percent for the organizations without responsive design.
The accompanying infographic lays out more of the data Granger and Blackbaud unearthed when it analyzed nearly 5,000 donations processed by Blackbaud's Online Express.
