Keela, a Vancouver-based fundraising CRM, has announced that it will be adding a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) feature to its software.
The decision to add a P2P fundraising feature to Keela will come as no surprise to users as it has been a highly requested feature both from customers and prospects. Additionally, many current Keela users have had to rely on third-party tools to conduct their P2P fundraising.
Peer-to-Peer fundraising is a multi-tiered approach to fundraising that relies on donors and supporters voluntarily reaching out to their networks of friends and family on behalf of a cause. They can do this by creating personal fundraising pages for a cause. Through P2P fundraising, an organization can facilitate community fundraising for its mission.
“Peer-to-Peer fundraising is vitally important for so many organizations' fundraising success,”
said Nejeed Kassam, CEO, and co-founder at Keela. “With the changing landscape of donors,
the increasing decentralization of giving, and the rapidly shifting global demographics, we are
thrilled to add P2P fundraising to our clients' fundraising toolkits. We hope this addition will
empower them to forge ahead with their core mission while generating vital donations and
building out the communities in which they serve.”
Keela continues to engage its users and prospects by building out its fundraising toolkit. These
tools and features are designed to positively contribute to these organizations’ day-to-day
operations and help them to continue the important philanthropic work they do.
Keela’s new premium feature, Peer-to-Peer is expected to be available to users on Tuesday,
Feb. 8 at 12:00 a.m. PST.
