Illustrated by Shelagh Armstrong, "This Child, Every Child" is in production now and will be published and distributed by Kids Can Press in March 2011 in Canada and the United States. "This Child, Every Child" is "a book about the world's children" that combines surprising statistics and a global perspective about what it means to be a child, the same approach that was used in Smith's "If The World Were A Village," a global best-seller, published in 17 languages and 20 territories worldwide, and also his most recent book, "If America Were a Village." Combined, the two books have sold more than half a million copies.
