Malaysian Financer Jho Low Allegedly Stole Millions From the Poor to Give to US Celebrity Charities

Here are the charities he donated to with the pilfered money via NY Post:

• A minimum of $20 million to Panthera
• A $150 million investment in Electrum Group
• $50 million to the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center
• $25 million to the United Nations Foundation
• A minimum of $20,000 a year to the Motion Picture Television Fund

While celebrities, such as Miranda Kerr, are returning gifts received by Low, charities are keeping the money. Tony Pua, Malaysian member of parliament, said, “I don’t know what the charities ethical practice should be.”
